"After our wedding, we had food for 200 more people. Meal Miracle picked it up within 45 minutes and served it to a shelter. It was the most meaningful wedding gift we ever gave."
"Every night I used to throw away leftover food after closing. Now I call Meal Miracle. They come, take it, and I know it feeds 40–50 people. My whole team feels proud now."
"I am 7 years old. The volunteers bring us food every night. Before, some nights we slept hungry. Now I sleep with a full stomach and dream of becoming a doctor."
You can stop it. One call is all it takes — and we handle everything else.
It takes one call, one click, one act of kindness.
Don't let good food go to waste when hungry hearts are nearby.
Meal Miracle was born from a single question — why does so much food go to waste while so many people go hungry?
To achieve zero hunger and zero food waste across America by building an efficient, transparent, and compassionate food rescue network that connects food surplus with food need — every single day, in every community.
We act as the bridge between abundance and scarcity, using technology, volunteerism, and community trust to eliminate the paradox of hunger and waste coexisting.
A world where no food is wasted and no person is hungry — where every community has access to fresh, nutritious meals and every surplus plate finds a grateful mouth.
We envision an America where food rescue is a social norm, where restaurants, homes, and events automatically think: "Before I waste this — who can I feed?"
Every decision we make starts with the question: how does this help a hungry person?
We never compromise. Every meal is checked before it reaches a beneficiary — always.
Less waste, less emissions, more food — our work is climate action at its most human level.
We are a people's movement. Our strength is the thousands of volunteers who show up daily.
Every meal tracked. Every kilogram logged. Every impact reported openly to our donors.
Food doesn't wait. Neither do we. Our avg pickup time is under 60 minutes of your call.
Priya Mehta, a product manager from the Bay Area, had no background in social work. But in 2022, at a corporate event in San Jose, she witnessed something she could never unsee — enormous quantities of fresh, catered food being discarded at the end of the night while unhoused families sheltered just outside.
That night, Priya didn't sleep. She started calling every food bank and NGO she could find. None of them had the infrastructure for rapid after-hours pickup. So she did it herself — with a borrowed van and two friends.
What started as a one-night act of conscience became a full-time calling. Within months, Meal Miracle had 30+ volunteers, partnerships with local restaurants, and had served over 5,000 meals.
Today, Meal Miracle operates across 7 California cities. Priya still picks up her phone at midnight when a volunteer needs her. Because that's where it all began.
